- All are air, ride spread axle to easily maintain legal weight.
- New trailers have a front lift axle to maximize fuel savings while empty.
- Requirement: Be able to pull yourself up on the trailer and loads to secure straps, chains and tarps.
- Requirement: Experience in tarping loads.

- Owner operators receive 75% of the revenue and 100% FSC.
- Owner operators run under Collins Trucking’s liability insurance, receive workers comp and use McLeod (at no expense to you).

We set ourselves apart from the competition. It begins before you arrive. All potential Collins Drivers must have at least 2 years of verifiable experience driving a tractor-trailer. If you stopped driving several years ago but still have a current Class A CDL, Collins Trucking requires you to have driven at least 2 out of the last 3 years. Collins Trucking No’s
No truck in the fleet is over 4 years old. Collins Trucking does not have a lease-purchase program. No pets are allowed in trucks. No team drivers are needed at this time though lengths of haul may change this.
