1950-1962 Henry R. Collins began Collins Concrete Pipe Co.
1950s-1962 Henry R. Collins began Collins Concrete Pipe Co., Michael A. Collins Sr. (MAC) partnered with his father to begin Collins Concrete Products, a manufacturer of precast concrete septic tanks.
1965 – Mac and Julie incorporated Collins Concrete Products
1965 - Mac and his wife Julie incorporated Collins Concrete Products into Collins Ready Mix Concrete Inc., supplying concrete for residential and commercial construction, in addition to hauling sand and gravel.
1970 – Supply concrete for the construction of a Plywood Plant
1970 - Supplying concrete for the construction of a Plywood Plant built by Georgia Pacific Corporation in Monticello, GA Mac and Julie formed a relationship with GP, resulting in Collins Trucking Co., Inc. The newly founded trucking company hauled pine and hardwood logs across middle Georgia to the Georgia Pacific mills. The annual renewal contract is ongoing today.
1992 – Micahel A. Collins Jr. incorporated Collins Industries Inc
1992 - Mac and Julie’s son, Michael A. (Mike) Collins, Jr., founded and incorporated Collins Industries Inc Michael A. (Mike) Collins, Jr., founded and incorporated Collins Industries Inc., purchasing a small business that contracted with GP to sort, load, and saw hardwood and pine logs to transport to various mills in Georgia.
1994 – Collins Industries changes the operations

2005 – Mike Collins purchases Collins Trucking
2005 - Mike Collins purchases Collins Trucking Co., Inc. from Mac and Julie Collins.
2013 – Collins Trucking purchases the first dry van trailer

Today - Collins Trucking operates 100+ power units and nearly 200 trailers, line equipment and technology. CTC utilizes flatbed and van trailers operating throughout the country. Following the adage, Henry R. Collins, “Can’t Never Could”, team Collins operates a well organized family business.
